More than 200.000 deers and wild pigs clash with vehicles every year in Germany. People are regularly injured, unfortunately this situation can also lead to death again and again.

Plastimat therefore has developed a new , improved wild warning reflector.

The headlight of an approaching vehicle generates a bright, optical warning fence in the new wild warning reflector, which is derived centrally 90º and spreads out in a radiated manner. The wild animal is already disturbed far ahead of the street by the light reflexes and flees opposite the light beam.

The wild animal can safely cross the road if no vehicles pass the road.

The Plastimat wild warning reflector does not reflect the light like other ordinary guide post reflectors or like a reflex film, but guides precisely a ray of light at an angle of 90 ° from the road. This light beam expands naturally radically and thus creates an optical warning fence, which warns the wild animal in time from the crossing of the street. Due to the changing light of the vehicles, a constantly changing optical warning fence is created which will lead the wild animal to stare or to escape back into the terrain.

Improved reflection

The Plastimat wild warning reflectors have a much improved light reflection into the terrain.

In comparison with current reflectors the effect of the new wild warning reflectors is many times higher. A comparative control measurement with all products on the market by an independent institute has confirmed this. Naturally, the wild alert reflectors fulfill all the requirements of the Austrian standard RVS 3.01 (environmental protection, wildlife protection).

Assembly and cleaning

The wild warning reflector is attached with two screws supplied. The screws are e.g. suitable for wooden and plastic guide posts at the height of the usual street reflectors.

The regular cleaning of the guide posts is, of course, also a cleansing of the wild warning reflectors, which, however, are hardly susceptible to dirt due to the remote shape.

Production

The Plastimat Wild warn Reflector is resistant to salt corrosion and resistant to water corrosion. The ABS material of the basic body as well as the PMMA of the reflector are UV-resistant. The shrinkage of the material during cold and heat has also been improved compared to existing products.

Purpose for Wild Warning Reflectors

Wild warning reflectors are supposed to warn the road approaching animal in order to bring him to stop.
